For the ninth year, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Philadelphia-based employee research firm, Energage, partnered to determine the Best Places to Work in Atlanta in 2019. Organizations are ranked in groups of similar size, and the high scoring employers are recognized as Top Workplaces. Any public, private, nonprofit or governmental employer with a minimum of 50 employees in metro Atlanta was eligible for nomination, making for a total of 4,343 companies nominated in September. The survey gathered responses to 24 factors in seven areas, including organizational health factors relating to workplace culture, employee engagement, and company leadership.
